Whiskey Live Dublin 2014
Whiskey lovers (and Whisky lovers) will be making their way to the Round Room of The Mansion House in Dublin on Saturday, 25th October 2014 for Whiskey Live, the world’s premier whiskey tasting show.
This will be the fourth year the event has taken place, and tickets are available for two sessions 2.00-5.30pm and 6.00-9.30pm. The event is being organised by Ally Alpine of the Celtic Whiskey Shop, and this year promises to be the best yet. Etto, Koh Bar & L Mulligan Grocer will each preparing different bite size dishes that will be matched with unique drinks, and Cocoa Atelier will be tempting your sweet tooth with whiskey & chocolate pairings. If you’re lucky they might even bring along some of their delicious macaroons.
One of the world’s best cocktail bartenders, Jack McGarry from The Dead Rabbit Grocery and Grog in New York will be there too and, along with six top bartenders from Dublin, will be showing that Irish Whiskey cocktails can be made to suit any palate.
Whiskey Live brings together whiskies from around the world, great food and a range of education and entertainment to make learning about whiskey both fun and stimulating. Whiskey masterclasses will run throughout the day and there will also be a few whiskey cask-matured craft beers, some Poitin and a range of other Irish spirits to round out the day.
Tickets are €37.50 and here’s the very important bit: the Celtic Whiskey Shop will donate a minimum of €10 per ticket to Down Syndrome Dublin.
